Our community
The Czech and Slovak Association of Canada (CSAC) was founded in 1939 to unite Czech and Slovak expatriates in Canada and support the liberation of Czechoslovakia during World War II. Throughout its existence, it has stood for democracy, assisted exiles, organized cultural and social activities, and supported patriotic initiatives. After 1989, it actively participated in fundraising efforts for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, engaged with authorities on expatriate issues, and helped strengthen ties between the homeland and the community in Canada.
Today, CSAC continues to connect expatriates across Canada and remains dedicated to preserving Czech and Slovak culture and traditions.
